Hello — I'm really glad you're here

I know it can feel like a big step, reaching out to someone new about your health. So let me just say — there's no pressure here, no clinical coldness, and no one-size-fits-all approach. Just a proper conversation, a comfortable clinic, and treatments that are built around you.

I qualified as an Occupational Therapist at the University of Wales College of Medicine, and over the years I've added sports and therapeutic massage, reflexology and reiki to the mix — because I've found that the most effective care often draws on more than one approach.

My clinic sits within the beautiful grounds of Villa Lobos, a dog-friendly home away from home in Lliber, just outside Jalón. It's private, peaceful, and genuinely lovely — the kind of place where you can properly switch off. Most of my clients drive over from Benissa, Moraira, Teulada, Jávea, Calpe, Dénia and the villages around the valley, and it's an easy run in from any of them.

I work mainly in English and I'm happy to have a chat before you book. There's no obligation — just drop me a message and we'll go from there.

A treatment as unique as you are

There's no menu to pick from here. Every session starts with a conversation — what's going on, what's getting in the way, and what you'd like to get back to doing. Together we set the goals for the session, and from there I draw on whichever of my trainings suits: hands-on massage, reflexology, reiki, occupational therapy, or a combination of them. Most sessions use more than one.

What I'm trained and certified in

Occupational Therapy

If pain, illness, injury or a change in your circumstances is making everyday life harder than it should be — that's exactly what OT is for. We'll look at what matters most to you and find practical, evidence-based ways to get you back to doing it.

Occupational therapy is widely used to help people maintain independence and manage daily activities while living with chronic conditions, recovering from surgery, or adjusting to neurological change.

Therapeutic Massage

Whether you're dealing with tight muscles from sport, tension that builds up from sitting at a desk, or just the general stress of modern life — massage works. I tailor every session to what your body actually needs that day, not a fixed routine.

Many people find therapeutic massage eases muscular tension and helps them relax and sleep better. It is commonly offered alongside conventional care for stiffness, aches and stress-related tension.

Reflexology

Reflexology works through specific pressure points on the feet that correspond to different systems in the body. It's wonderfully relaxing in its own right — and many people find it helps with sleep, digestion, stress and general wellbeing in ways that genuinely surprise them.

Reflexology is a complementary therapy rather than a medical treatment. Most people come to it for deep relaxation, and often report feeling calmer and sleeping more easily afterwards.

Reiki

Reiki is a gentle, hands-on energy therapy that many people find deeply calming — particularly when life feels overwhelming, when sleep is elusive, or when the body and mind just need a reset. There's nothing to do, nothing to fix — just time to be still and let the session do its work.

Reiki is a complementary relaxation therapy, not a medical treatment or a substitute for one. People generally come to it for stillness and stress relief, and many describe feeling noticeably calmer afterwards.

You don't need to work out which of these you need — that part is my job. Just tell me what's going on and we'll take it from there.

What people have said

Garry has an incredible touch. His hands are warm, healing, and somehow seem to find exactly where the problem is without you having to explain much. He has a very intuitive way of working, and he can locate those difficult, stubborn spots almost instantly.

What also makes Garry different is his underlying medical knowledge. He understands the body and how everything connects, which gives his treatments a level of depth that I haven't found with other therapists in the area. He's genuinely one of a kind.

Erik

I was on holiday in the area when I developed quite a bad knot in my upper back and shoulder. Garry worked it out really well and afterwards I could move much more freely and enjoy the rest of my holiday without constantly thinking about the pain. I was very lucky to find him!

Anke

My hamstrings and leg muscles were really tight and I needed some proper deep tissue work. After three sessions with Garry, the difference was huge. Much less tension, better mobility, and my legs feel so much better. If you need a genuinely deep massage, I definitely recommend him.

Things people often ask

How much does a treatment cost?

Every treatment is €45 per hour — occupational therapy, therapeutic massage, reflexology and reiki alike. There's no charge for an initial chat about whether a treatment would suit you.

Where is the clinic, and which areas do you cover?

The clinic is at Villa Lobos, Camí Avellà 1, Lliber, in the Jalón Valley. Clients come in from across Costa Blanca Norte — Jalón, Alcalalí, Parcent, Benissa, Moraira, Teulada, Calpe, Jávea, Dénia, Pedreguer and Orba are all within about twenty to thirty minutes. Do I need to know which treatment I want before I book?

Not at all — and you don't have to pick just one. Every session starts with a conversation about what's going on for you, and from there the treatment draws on whichever approaches fit. Most sessions combine two or more. If you're not sure, just get in touch and describe the problem: that's genuinely the easiest way to start.

There aren't fixed opening hours — appointments are arranged individually so you get an unhurried session at a time that works for you. Message on WhatsApp or by email and we'll sort something out.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes. The clinic sits in the grounds of Villa Lobos, which is a dog-friendly home away from home, so your dog is very welcome to come along.

What language are treatments in?

Treatments are mainly in English. Enquiries in Spanish are welcome and will be answered — esta página también está disponible en español.
